7 Concrete Steps to Get Those Ideas Out Of Your Head and Into Reality

For the last couple of weeks I have been very focused and my thoughts all of last week were, “Let me just get through this week and then I’ll take a breather!”  Ever been there? I spent one whole night just relaxing in bed – at 7pm and it felt wonderful!

The Grow and Go Forth Conference was met with success and through that experience – it was the 1st ever virtual conference I’ve done on my own – I have not only learned a lot but also gained some valuable wisdom and insight.

Here’s me in the conference room!

Sometimes stepping out into the unknown is just what we need in order to grow and take our ministry, business, or organization to the next level.

If you’ve got an idea you’ve been toying around with in your head for some time, it’s time for you to start moving and manifesting your heart desire.  If you don’t step out on faith and do it, you will never know if you could have done what was required of you.  A saying I tell myself is “I would rather try and fail than never have tried and always wonder if I could.  At least if I fail, I know what to do to be better next time.”

It’s easy for me to sit here at my computer desk and tell you to get going but for some of you, you need concrete steps!  So here’s a few to get you started!

1.      Write out what you want to accomplish:  You have got to get those thoughts and ideas out of your head and onto paper so they will become real.

2.      Assess your skills, resources and your ability:  What are you able to do on your own and what will you need to outsource out?  Can you trade skills?  Would it serve your time better to outsource although you can do the job?  Are the resources readily available (not just finances but whatever else you need) for your project?

3.      Research, research, research: Look to see what others before you have done, what you liked and didn’t like.  Ask questions, get feedback, read, peruse websites, contact those that have experience and expertise in what you’re trying to do and glean from them. Research!

4.      Determine your time frame:  How long will it take you to complete this project?  How much time do you have?  When do you want it completed? Do you want a Summer, Spring, Winter or Fall event?  If it’s an online event, how long will it be?

5.      Stop thinking and start doing: Manifest: Don’t get stuck on the research and don’t get scared.  Move!  Put the research into actual steps and then a time frame to actually manifest.  Sometimes you have to move as you research!

6.      Get the word out: In order for what you are doing to be a success – in some kinda way – you’ve got to get the word out.  Who is your niche (or flock, in the Christian world!)?  Where do they congregate?  Where can you find them in person or online?  Get the word to them.

7.      Take a breather and have fun! After your event – whatever it may be, take some time to look back and see what you did right and what you could have done better.  What did you learn (you should always be learning something!!)?  How can you apply it to the next event?  Have fun and just know you have gained some valuable experience for the next project you do!
These are a few basic steps to get you started but guest what the most important one is?  To pray!  You must remember that you are only a vessel and you cannot accomplish anything without God’s strength, guidance and leading.

So there you are, some quick tips to help you start manifesting and living your life on purpose.  Write to me and let me know what worked for you!

To Your Greatness!
