How do you know when you’re ready to take what you want to do to the next level?

Here’s a question that came up and I thought it thought provoking and wanted to share it with you in hopes it would somehow help you.

“How do you know when you’re ready to take what you want to do to the next level?  I mean, how did YOU decide; what made you do it?”

Here was my answer:
“When the cost of the knowledge you need no longer overshadows your reservation of price.”

In other words if you know deep within yourself you need the knowledge, expertise and wisdom being offered by another and it has the ability to take you to the next level in your business, personal or spiritual life, then the price no longer matters.
People will pay for what they consider important to them. If purchasing a $300 bag because it’s on sale at 25% off is more important and appealing than buying a $125 ticket to a women’s retreat, then they’ll do it.

If purchasing jewelry and make-up at a women’s function is more appealing and important than spending $25 or $10 on a book or CD that can take their spiritual or physical well being to the next level is more important to them, then that’s what they’ll do.  If spending hundreds or thousands or even $50 bucks on class, seminar or a mastermind group is important to them because they know deep down it will help them to grow, then they’ll do it.  It’s what important to that person at that particular time in their life.

There are two (2) groups of women I usually come in contact with as I teach, empower and encourage to move them into their purpose: (1) The one that wants change and is willing to invest in herself to receive it; and (2) the one that wants change but is not willing to invest in herself for it.

Did you read the difference between the two?

Both know a change is needed but one is willing to work toward the change, the other is not.  One is willing to step out on faith to take classes, enroll in a community college, goes to a seminar, a workshop, etc.  Slowly but surely she builds herself up, while the other sits and wants.  Sits and struggles with incompleteness, feeling stuck, unsure of what or where or how to do what God has called of them.  Sits and continues to watch others move into their greatness, their leadership and their vision!  Sits and watches and wishes and wants.

The woman that is willing to invest in herself knows that in order for the vision God has given her, and for her leadership to mature and her greatness to expand, she will have to equip herself to do so, and do it well.  She sees more than just the here and now, she sees the future and she is investing in it.  She knows that she’s investing in the big picture of what is actually possible to achieve if she trusts God and walk by faith and in her purpose.

It’s a heart and mind move mixed in with faith.  You heart has to be committed, your mind has to be willing, and your faith has to be ready to expand.

Are you ready to commit?

To Your Greatness!
